I ordered to go. Food didn't really have much flavor. Got the whole crawfish. Wanted garlic butter for the seasoning. The potatoes were supposed to be garlic and didn't taste like it. The strawberry cheesecake was good.

I really enjoyed my visit to this place! 😊🍽️ Overall, it was a great experience with tasty food and a comfortable atmosphere. The greens were a bit cooler than I personally prefer, but they still had good flavor and were enjoyable. 🥬👍 The stuffed shrimp was definitely the highlight for me-absolutely delicious, well-seasoned, and cooked just right. 🍤😋 The cornbread was also very good, soft and flavorful, and paired nicely with the rest of the meal. 🌽✨ The staff did a great job as well, being quick and efficient when taking orders, which made everything smooth and easy. 👏😊 I also appreciated that there was plenty of seating available, especially for a Sunday morning, making it a relaxed and stress-free visit. 🪑☀️ No real complaints at all-just a solid, satisfying meal in a welcoming place. I would definitely come back again! ❤️🍴

We've driven past Captain Porky's countless times, always laughing about the name, and finally decided to stop in and see what the fuss was about. The 1st thing that caught my attention was the glass cases filled with meats, salads, sausages, and other treats. It was fun looking around before ordering. We ended up getting the alligator po' boy, which wasn't exactly what I expected to order at a BBQ place. However, my wife was excited about finding a place with alligator nuggets, so that's where we landed:) We also ordered the hush puppies. Everything was hot and delicious. The sandwich was loaded, the hush puppies were prefect (extra crispy outside and soft on the inside), and the portions were big enough that we split it and were stuffed. Unfortunately, that meant we couldn't try any of the desserts, even though they looked amazing. The restaurant itself is pretty basic, and our table was sticky. The food is also on the expensive side- about $24 for a sandwich, Diet Coke, and a small order of hush puppies. That said, the portions were generous and the food was really good. We're glad we finally stopped in and we'll definitely be back to try something else soon.

The staff here was friendly and helpful. I asked to try 2 combo plates with the most variety of items that were the most popular. A little pricey but some of them like the fried chicken, greens and cornbread was really good. Next time I'm out this way, I'll be sure to stop in and get those and try other items on the menu.

Everything was delicious from the BBQ to the seafood. The service was perfection and they also have a large selection of craft beers. The menu is huge, can't wait to come back and try more items. Very reasonably priced as well.
